This statement explains how Arcas Bridge Co., Ltd. (アルカスブリッジ株式会社, “we”) handles personal information you give us through arcasbridge.com. We handle it in line with Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI).
What we collect
When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, organization (if you give it), and your message. Like most websites, our hosting provider also processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and keep it secure.
How we use it
We use what you send only to reply to your inquiry and, if we go on to work together, to manage that relationship. We don’t sell personal information, use it for advertising, or add you to a mailing list.
Who processes it for us
We use a small number of service providers, each bound by its own data protection terms:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) hosts the website and runs Turnstile, which checks that form submissions come from a person rather than a bot.
- Resend, Inc. (United States) delivers form submissions to our inbox and keeps a copy of each delivered message for a limited time.
- Google LLC (United States) provides our email (Google Workspace), where your message and our replies are kept.
These providers may process data outside Japan, including in the United States. The United States has no single national privacy law equivalent to the APPI; we rely on each provider’s contractual commitments and security measures to protect your information. We don’t share personal information with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Cookies
We don’t use cookies for advertising or tracking. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary technical data to protect the site and the contact form from abuse.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries for as long as we need them to respond and to keep reasonable business records, then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it or stop using it. Email info@arcasbridge.com and we’ll respond within a reasonable time, as the APPI requires.
